Senator Alan Peter Cayetano on Friday said the City of Taguig has been experiencing continued progress because of its decision to be God-centered.
Talking to more than 40 pastors and their spouses over a post-Valentine’s Day fellowship lunch, Cayetano said Taguig has been seeing “miracles” in the face of national economic challenges ever since the city offered the year 2023 to the Lord.
He cited as examples the undergoing construction of the new Taguig General Hospital and the successful opening of the Taguig Convention Center which also houses the City’s Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS).
It’s not our will that’s happening there but the will of the Lord,” he said.
The Senator said the key to transforming the nation is for the people to respond to God’s goodness with their lives, encouraging the pastors not to be preoccupied with just growing the number of their respective flocks but instead help them create an impact on other people by embodying God’s teachings.
The Senator also asked the pastors to pray for all businesses in Taguig, hopeful that “miracles” will soon be also happening in areas of the City that are currently less developed compared to Fort Bonifacio and Arca South, especially Laguna Lakeshore.
“Let us allow God to lead us because He has the best plan for us,” he said.
