Wilbur Suanding and Foreman Joey Sison representing General Services Office (GSO) Head Eugene Buyucan, and later raised their concerns regarding solid waste management particularly on Plastics, circular economy, and urban waterway management, May 23 at the City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office, CEO Compound.
Data on Waste Analysis and Characterization Study (WACS) was aptly presented by Sison, and an urban waterway management planning workshop was conducted as part of a compilation and for future references, as facilitated by EMS 1 Bernadette Pagteilan.
The seminar is part of the Information and Education Campaign (IEC) for Circular Economy and Solid Waste Management with intents to lessen garbage going into landfills, and combat climate change and environmental degradation. By Julie G. Fianza
