Baguio City – The City Government, supported by the Department of Health is going to conduct a fun run on November 19, Sunday, with distances of 3K, 5K, and 10K.
The run, themed “Start running, Stop craving”, was set to continue the awareness campaign for a 100% no smoking, smoke-free Baguio City.
The different LGUs, government agencies and private companies and individuals are invited to join the event. Registration fees are: P250 for the 3K, P300 for the 5K, and P450 for the 10K. Registration is open since October 25 until November 17 at the Baguio Country Mart, the Athletic Bowl Office and the City Sports Office.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Baguio City Smoke-Free Task Force. A training for the task force was conducted last Oct 16-17 at El Cielito Hotel – Baguio, and was attended by government officials, health officers and private individuals.
