BAGUIO CITY – The local government has lined up a month-long activity to celebrate the 122nd anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service this month.
The city’s celebration of the Philippine Civil Service month was launched during the regular flag raising ceremony held at the city hall grounds.
Part of the month-long activities is the conduct of the electronic raffle draws on September 5, 12, 19 and 26, 2022 where the same will be witnessed by one member of the Personnel Recognition, awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) committee and a representative from the Local Government Unit of Baguio Employees Association, Inc. (LGU-BEAI) that will be held at the City Human Resource Management Office (CHRMO).
The weekly winners will be notified in the CHRMO website, CHRMO facebook page and through messenger and other information related to the raffle.
City Hall employees were treated to a health and wellness activity last September 8-9, 2022 where they were able to avail of various services offered by the City Health Services Office (CHSO) and partners for the welfare of the government workers.
Further, city hall employees also actively participated in the 5S Big Clean-up Day last September 16, 2022 where they were mandated to clean their respective work places.
The annual awards and recognition program for city government employees will be conducted on September 23, 2022 at the Baguio Convention Center where outstanding employees and those who were able to render quality services will be given due recognition.
On September 30, 2022, city officials and employees will be rendering community service in the designated parks around the city as part of their commitment in maintaining the city’s cleanliness.
