City officials recently commended and congratulated the Philippine representatives for winning the Fitness International Federation (FIF) World Championships held last August 2024.
In a resolution authored by Councilor John Rhey L. Mananeng, local legislators stated that the Philippine representatives to the FIF World Championships serve as an inspiration for people aspiring to enter the world of bodybuilding and individuals striving for excellence in their respective endeavor.
Among the country’s representative to the FIF World Championships are Charlotte Tibawen, who emerged as the bodybuilding women champion in the 45-year old category; Lilibeth Ampal, who was adjudged as the Figure and Sports Model Champion in the 40 years old category; Brenson Depayso, who was declared the bodybuilding Master’s champion in the 40 years old and above category; Aldrin Kurt Douglas, who placed second runner up in the bodybuilding Men’s Physique division 70 kilograms and below and Liza Docyogen, who won the second runner up in the Bikini division.
Earlier, these Philippine representatives to the FIF World Championships were able to achieve extraordinary milestone by winning in their respective categories during the competition held last August 2024 which showcased strenuous physical effort in strengthening and enlarging their muscles.
The council claimed that this remarkable accomplishment represents not only a personal triumph for the Philippine representatives but also a significant achievement for the Cordillera and the nation as a whole bringing global recognition and pride to the community where they belong.
It added that the Philippine representatives exemplified the highest standards of excellence and sportsmanship throughout their journey in becoming the FIF world champions.
