BAGUIO CITY – The Cordillera Judo Association (CJA) conducted its selection for player candidates and representatives to the 2017 Philippine National Games (PNG) last October 29, 2017 at the Saint Vincent Gymnasium with more than two hundred Judo players from at least five judo clubs in the City participating in the selection.

According to CJA-Regional Coach Engr. Ferdinand Cudao, the “CJA-Invitational Judo Tournament and PNG Selection”, which was supposedly conducted last August 27, 2017 which was postponed to October 29, 2017, is the official selection of player delegates to the PNG, following the Philippine Judo Federation regulations for the selection of players to compete in the National Games.

He added that as per the conducted selection, the winning players names will be submitted to the Local Government as the officials list of players to the forthcoming National Games. He also said that the selection was done earlier to give the participants/candidates to have more time for practice for better performance during the PNG.
