BONTOC, Mountain Province – Through the partnership of the Provincial Local Government of Mountain Province and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, a successful training on Basic Backhoe Operation was held in January.
TESDA Provincial Director Glenn Murphy confirmed 58 graduates who successfully completed training conducted in Sabangan, Mt. Province.
The closing program was led by Hon. Boni Lacwasan who also emphasized his support to this partnership. He mentioned to address the committee on appropriation to a lot budget for the next training this 2023.
In his message, “sopporta kmi ay provincial official yo para ken dakau ay trainee ta ado maadal yo maiyapply sinan ili tako”.
Vice-Gov. Francis Tauli added that this activity was approved last year 2022 in the amount of 1 million to help our Kailyan e-Montañosa.
During the program, special awards were also given to the trainees.
The Best Operator Award was given to Donald Siw-Ang, Ashley Likigan and Hazzley Vergara. The Diligence Award was given to Frenzel Tauli and Edmund Padayao.
Executive Assistant A. Agnapan, one of the trainees, extended his gratitude to the PLGU and TESDA for having this opportunity.
“Mabalinen ado en operator di probinsya tako, sapay koma it will not end here. Wada manbalin koma assessor ken datako graduates” he said.
