LUNA, Apayao – Apayao Lone District Representative Eleanor C. Bulut-Begtang Friday September 13 advised residents in Apayao to avail the government’s financial services after she securing PhP30 million fund from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
In her message during the Kaarawan ng Pangulo celebration at the BGJV Jr. gymnasium, she said the fund she asked for is meant to help yApayaos to have access to sustainable livelihood programs and quality education.
With the various available types of assistance in the province, Bulut-Begtang urged especially the underserved to draw near and avail social services, financial aid, among other government programs.
“Nu adda da man pay apo residente nga haan pay pulos nakaawat wenno nakaraman kadagituy adu nga grasya nga ipapaay ti gobyerno tayo ket idawat ko nga mapan kayo kadagiti opisina ti DSWD, SWAD, MSWD, ta ado apo ti it-ited ti gobyerno haan lang nga aggapo ti kongreso nu ketdi mangted pay ti opisina ni Gov. Butsy ti nadumaduma nga financial assistance,” the Congresswoman said.
Some resident-beneficiaries across the province testified on the impact of the government’s social programs with two of them expressing their gratitude during an interview.
Gina Dela Cruz, a 53-year-old resident of Santa Marcela who attended the orientation for the Department of Labor and Employment’s TUPAD program, mentioned it was her first time to participate in the program, and conveyed her thanks, saying she joined said program to support her adopted child’s education and other expenses.

Moreover, Bernardo S.
