BAGUIO CITY – A 25-year old cook of a local bar was injured after he was maucled by two students while having a drinking session at Camdas Subdivision here Sunday afternoon.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, officer-in-charge of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), identified the mauling victim as Jrdan Magalong Alimuin, 25, single, cook, a resident of Happy Homes, Baguio City, who hails from Naga City while he named the suspects as Rodolfo Paolo Dunuan Conception, 19, native of Nueva Vizcaya, single, student, a resident at Happy Homes, Baguio City, and Vill Conde Advincula, 21, single, student, a resident at M. Roxas, Trancoville, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the victim and the suspects had a drinking session inside a bar when a misunderstanding suddenly ensued between both parties.
Considering the heated altercation, the suspects then reportedly mishandled the victim before attempting to flee the crime scene.
The victim was rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical treatment while the suspects were successfully arrested by responding police operatives and are now detained at the BCPO headquarters awaiting the filing of the appropriate charges against them.
