BAGUIO CITY – The region’s No. twelve drug personality was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents after they were able to find in his possession suspected illegal drugs and assorted drug paraphernalia during an anti-drug operation at the barangay hall of MRR Queen of Peace, here, recently.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, city director of the Baguio City Police Office, identified the arrested drug personality as Rodelio Ballasca De Vera, 38 self-employed and a resident of MRR Queen of Peace barangay, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed the live in partner of the suspect reported to the barangay that she was abused by her husband and that he was also involved in the use of illegal drugs that prompted barangay officials to seek police assistance.
During the anti-drug operation, police operatives were able to recover from the suspect three heat sealed sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 0.55 grams, a plastic sachet containing suspected shabu residue and a black pouch containing assorted drug paraphernalia from his possession.
The arrested drug personality and the confiscated pieces of evidence were subsequently brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation prior to the filing of the appropriate charges against him.
