BONTOC, Mountain Province December 10 – The Coronation Night and Raffle Draw were conducted on December 7, 2015 due to the 5th Division Technolympics 2015 in Banao, Bauko on December 10-13, 2015. Since most of the TLE teachers will be participating in the said activity. Their absence on the coronation and raffle draw will surely affect the flow of activities originally scheduled on December 11, 2015.
The result of the last canvassing last December 6, 2015 in the Search for Mr. & Ms. Technolympics 2015 is as follows: Johnny Angitag Jr.-1st Runner Up; Kieran B. Dalog – 2nd Runner Up; Eric Fulangen Jr. – 3rd Runner Up; Greiden Lee P. Ayochok – 4th Runner Up; Franklin John V. Balonglong -5th Runner Up; Charlynne P. Valencerina – 1st Runner Up; Krystel Clyde A. Ekid – 2nd Runner Up; Fran Faclangen-3rd Runner Up; Jule Flor Ekid-4th Runner Up and Jenny Chadya-as-5th Runner Up.
The Raffle draw is a fund raising of the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Department of the Mountain Province General Comprehensive High School and is done through ticket selling in the form of a popularity contest. The objective of this fund raising is to help purchase TLE tools and equipment for Cookery and Carpentry which the school will offer for Senior High School in the Technology Vocational Livelihood Track in the next school year 2016-2017.
Result of the raffle draw indicated that the winning tickets were accordingly distributed in and out of the school and the community of Bontoc.
The First Prize which is one set of Television (24”) was won by Joseph Fagtang of Bontoc, while the Second Prize which is Double Burner with Full Tank was won by Emma Ezperanza Olosan from Sabangan, and the Third Prize which is Set of Pots was won by Maria Kristina Talona from Tondo, Manila.
Five of the consolation prizes which are E-Loads worth 100.00 each were won by Bontoc residents in the persons of Temprance Anongos, Criselda P. Anongos, Julia F. Tumingeb, Jan Burlman Chengay, Marco Tumingeb. Sixth to eighth consolation prizes which are Cherry Mobile Cellphones were won by students and employee of MPGCHS in the persons of Valerie Channas, Bethany Padaen and Catherine Tom-oken. For the ninth consolation prize which is electric rice cooker was won by Roland B. Matias from DPWH-MPDEO and the tenth consolation prize which is a standard pot was won by a Bontoc resident in the person of Eugene Tad-awan.
The prizes were solicited by the TLE teachers from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members and Ms. Marion N. Pumecha to defray expenses for the fund raising.
