City officials commended and congratulated the Baguio City Police office (BCPO) for topping the unit performance evaluation rating (UPER) of the Police Regional Office (PRO) in the Cordillera.
Further, Resolution No. 110, series of 2023, also gave the same recognition to the BCPO Legarda police station No. 5 for being the top precinct of the BCPO in the city.
The council stipulated that the ranking achieved by the BCPO and the Legarda police station would serve as an inspiration and encouragement for other police stations to continue working for the common good in the name of public service.
Earlier, the BCPO bested the unit performance evaluation rating (UPER) of the PRO-Cordillera for January 2023 garnering a rating of 93.94 percent.
BCPO is composed of 10 police precincts located in strategic areas in the city, particularly Station No. 1 along Naguilian road, Station No. 2 at Camdas, Station No. 3 at Pacdal, Station, No. 4 at Loakan, Station No. 5 at Legarda, Station, No. 6 at Aurora Hill, Station No. 7 at Abanao, Station No. 8 along Kennon road, Station No. 9 at Irisan and Station No. 10 along Marcos highway.
Moreover, BCPO Station No. 5 along Legarda road was hailed for being the top police precinct in the said performance evaluation for January 2023.
The UPER system serves as a standard evaluation tool to assess the performance and progress of all the Philippine National Police (PNP) offices and units around the country which includes administrative and operational deliverables of the police offices to maintain law and order in their respective areas of responsibilities or jurisdiction.
