BONTOC, Mountain Province – Mayor Jerome Tudlong paid a courtesy call to Mt. Province Governor Bonifacio Lacwasan Jr. today to discuss the aftermath of the recent fire incident in Bontoc. The main agenda was to identify the total number of households affected by the fire and the extent of damage to their properties, including vehicles and affected student boarders.
During the courtesy call, a donation of 100k pesos was turned over to the Mayor from the Provincial Local Government of Kalinga c/o Gov. James Edduba represented by Jeffry L. Uyom-Provincial Assessor, and Mauricio Patongaw- consultant of Governor’s Office-Kalinga.
This generous donation is intended to help alleviate the plight of the fire victims in Bontoc and provide them with much-needed support during this difficult time.
This is a great example of how neighboring provinces can come together to help each other during times of need. Let us continue to show our support and kindness to those affected by the recent fire incident.
