BAGUIO CITY – Last January 12, 2018 at the Crown Legacy Hotel, the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders Association Inc. or CREBA Baguio Benguet Chapter elected its officers for the year 2018. Engr. Ernesto Panis was elected as Chairman while Ramon Tagle was elected as President.
In a message, both officers thanked the chapter for the vote of confidence as they committed to build on the success of the previous years and continue with the growth of the group towards being an organization actively involved in the community. Last year, CREBA was an active participant in the consultative talks regarding the changes implemented by the city government with regards to Real Property Tax.
Joining the new set of officers are Ulysses Gaerlan – VP External, Ryan Tablac – VP Internal, Joanne David – Secretary, Maria Fe Oyson – Treasurer, Avelino Cayat Jr. – Auditor. Reynaldo Gundran, Feliza Ronquillo, Rose Ann Tabora, Lennon Tiago, Ma. Susan Villanueva, and Edwin Zamora were likewise elected as directors. The election process was facilitated by the Council of Leaders namely Jane Cosalan, Josie Pablo, and Antonio Buenavista.
The new set of officers look towards 2018 guided by the 5-point agenda of CREBA. The 5-point agenda is a package of inter-related policy and legislative reform proposals in pursuit of its relentless advocacy in ensuring that every Filipino is able to live a full and happy life in a home he can call his own. Locally, it has plans to adopt-a-park in addition to the existing CREBA park along Kennon Road.
