LUNA, Apayao – Civil Service Commission-Cordillera Administrative Region (CSC-CAR), Regional Director Fernando O. Mendoza lauded the yApayao’s exemplary public service, resilience, and unity which became the foundation of its successful growth.
Mendoza, during the provincial government’s 29th Corporate Existence celebration at the Grandstand in Payanan, San Gregorio, Luna, Apayao, spoke of the importance of embracing resilience as the key to building together a stronger and more adaptable community.
According to Mendoza, the struggles that Apayao faced for almost over three decades as well as the milestones that have been achieved and the resilience that has been demonstrated throughout shows the “unwavering commitment to serve the people and uphold the values of accountability and integrity.”
“Alam ko pong masalimuot ang iyong pinagdaanan subalit dahil sa inyong katatagan at pinagdaanan ay nakarating kayo sa inyong kinalalagyan ngayon. Isang maunlad at mahusay na pamamahala ng Apayao,” Mendoza said.
Furthermore, Mendoza expressed his gratitude to the province for always being number one in the list of provinces in holding celebrations and events for its government workers.
Additionally, Mendoza praised the provincial government for its unity in overcoming effects of natural disasters and social challenges, making their bond stronger to push forward despite difficulties.
“Your province, our province, has demonstrated its resilience time and time again in the face of natural disaster and social challenges that make it stronger and more united each time,” Mendoza said.
In line with Apayao’s 29th Corporate Existence celebration, the provincial government, meantime, is thankful for the presence of Mendoza and reiterated its commitment, through the words of its leaders, in serving its people better. By Joyce Arian Soria
