BONTOC, Mountain Province – Two employees from the provincial government and the Department of Education-Mountain Province Schools Division (DepEd-MPSD) were granted Career Service Eligibility (CSE) by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
The recipients of the CSE were Dominga L. Ortiz from the Provincial Cooperative Office of the provincial government and Abegail T. Sawi from the Mountain Province General Comprehensive High School, DepEd-Mountain Province Schools Division. Both employees were granted with CSE via the CSE-Preferencial Rating (PR) of the CSC.
Sawi personally received her CSE from CSC-Mountain Province Field Office Director Anita Verina Peredes during the launching activity of the 124th Philippine CS Anniversary at the Multi-Purpose Hall on September 2, 2024.
According to the CSC, the CSE-PR was implemented to give the government employees with no CSE an opportunity to be absorbed or integrated into the civil service system and be afforded with security of tenure or even promoted to higher posts.
Workers in government who have been in the service for at least 10 years and have acquired relevant knowledge and skills but do not possess the appropriate civil service eligibility are encouraged to apply for the grant of CSE-PR. By Hail, MP
