Passing the CSE-PPT results in the conferment of the Career Service Professional or Career Service Subprofessional eligibility. The Career Service Professional Eligibility is a second level eligibility appropriate for first level (clerical) positions, and second (technical) positions in the government, including executive/managerial positions in the second level, which do not involve practice of profession and are not covered by special/other laws.
On the other hand, the Career Service Subprofessional Eligibility is a first level eligibility appropriate only for first level (clerical) positions in the government which do not involve practice of profession and are not covered by special/other laws.
The CSC clarified that the Professional and Subprofessional eligibilities do not apply to government positions involving practice of profession, as these require appropriate licenses.
