BONTOC, Mountain Province – The Department of Agriculture (DA)-Agricultural Programs Coordinating Office of Mountain Province spearheaded a one-day Provincial Implementers Meeting (PIM) at the 4th floor of the Archog Building, Samoki on July 31, 2024.
The meeting was attended by officials and representatives from the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, Office of the Provincial Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer, MP Agricultural and Fisheries Extension Center, and Office of the Municipal Agriculturist of the different municipalities of the province, among others.
The main agenda of the meeting was to present the accomplishments and provide updates coming from the various divisions of the DA which include the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division, the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Division, and the Regional Agricultural Engineering Division.
In addition, update reports on the different banner programs, projects, and activities of the DA such as the Rice Seed Monitoring System, the profiling and georeferencing of the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture; 4K Program, Philippine Rural Development Project, Cord and Rice Program, High Value Crop Development Program, Organic Agriculture Program and Livestock Program were also presented during the meeting.
In closing, the provincial Agricultural Programs Coordinating Officer Pedro C. Pinos-an relayed his gratitude and appreciation to all the attendees for responding positively to their office’s call for meeting and for their shared inputs and active participation during the meeting. By Hail, MP
