BAGUIO CITY – The Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office-Cordillera Administrative Region (DA-RFO-CAR) and the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center-Cordillera Administrative Region (ATI-RTC-CAR) held a joint Agency In-House Review (AIHR) at the Organic Agriculture Building Conference Hall, Baguio Animal Breeding and Research Center (BABRC) Compound, Dontogan, Baguio City on September 3, 2024.
The activity featured the evaluation of five completed research papers. Four papers were presented by the DA-RFO-CAR represented by John Chriswell Tulabis, Mary Ann Felix, Leah Mon, and Sherry Antonio-Ngongot, while one paper was from ATI-RTC-CAR by Dr. Cristina Esnara. In his welcome remarks, Nicasio S. Baucas, Chief Science Research Specialist, highlighted that the activity is one of the division’s activities providing an avenue for research papers to be improved with the constructive comments and recommendations of evaluators. Jovinia S. Lucas, Senior Science Research Specialist, expressed her hope that the activity would be more than a day, reflecting the growing number of research outputs to share.
The AIHR, spearheaded by the Research Division, is an annual event committed for reviewing and evaluating research write-ups for potential presentation in the Regional Symposium and other fora, and also for possible publication.
The panel of evaluators, consisting of Dr. Teresita Mangili, Dr. Juliet Ochasan, and Dr. Esther Josephine Sagalla, meticulously reviewed each paper, providing valuable feedbacks to refine and improve the research papers presented. By Sherry Antonio-Ngongot
