TUBLAY, Benguet – A still unidentified man was reportedly shot to death by still undetermined number of assailants in a grassy portion of Caponga, here, Monday dawn.
Police authorities described the recovered cadaver as medium built, about 5’5’to 5’6’tall, 30 to 35 years old and was wearing stripe colored red and white T-shirt, blue jeans and blue shoes.
Concerned residents informed probers that they heard successive gunshots emanating from a grassy portion of their place and when they attempted to go and see what happened, they were reportedly driven away by one of the alleged suspects who pointed a gun at them that caused seem to seek refuse inside their residences.
The victim reportedly sustained nine gunshot wounds on the different parts of his body while responding police operatives recovered from the crime scene nine spent shells of a calibre .9mm which was used by the suspect in the perpetration of the crime.
The victim is believed to be part of the long list of summary execution victims committed in the Baguio and Benguet areas.
