PUGO, La Union – The municipal government recently declared Senator Ronald ‘Bato’ Marapon dela Rosa as an adopted son of the municipality.
Senator dela Rosa was the guest of honor and speaker during the celebration of the town’s 111th founding anniversary and the opening of the 5th Tinungbo festival where he rallied parents to love their children and in return for children to reciprocate the same by loving their parents.
Under Resolution No. 2022-163, the municipal officials stated that the municipality is truly honored for having a staunch partner whose efforts deserve acknowledgement from the Pugoenians by being adopted as one of the sons of the locality and to consider him as one of them by supporting him in all his endeavors, advocacies and aspirations.
The resolution stated that Senator dela Rosa has continuously shown his heartfelt concern to the entire country as he sustained the provision of financial assistance or subsidy, particularly those on the lower-class municipalities, such as Pugo, with the municipal government as one of the lucky recipients of this program.
