Some 63 employees from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources of the Cordillera Administrative Region (DENR-CAR) regional office, bureaus and field offices graduated the ENR basic and frontline courses.
These training courses are outlined after the ENR Academy’s basic and frontline courses offered for continuous professional improvement of DENR employees.
For these batches, there were 20 graduates from Class 207-Masigasig who completed the ENR Basic Course, while there were 43 graduates from Class 107-Courageous. For the class of 108 Courageous, the class valedictorian is Cedric Francis E. Accos, from the regional office with a rating of 89.10 percent, the class salutatorian is Jayson P. Cham-on, from Ifugao with a rating of 88.68 percent, and for third place is Cristy Lane V. Baggay, from the Benguet with a rating of 87.32 percent.
For the class of 207 Masigasig, the class valedictorian is Mclister A. Abellera, from the Environmental Management Bureau with a rating of 87.44 percent, the class salutatorian is Faye Kashmere D. Fajardo, from the regional office with a rating of 85.38 percent, and for third place is Fidel S. Apolonio, from Benguet with a rating of 83.64 percent.
Regional Executive Director Engr. Ralph Pablo told the graduates to utilize their learning to improve the performance of their duties and that of others by echoing whatever they learned. With their holistic training, he hopes the graduates could be more functional and productive.
He noted that the training course is the department’s investment to strengthen its manpower. He then hoped that the employees remain loyal and committed to their work, the organization, and their oath of service.
