The Cordillera office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-CAR) is vying for Environmental Awards for Governance and Leadership Excellence (EAGLE) anew.
DENR Undersecretary for Policy, Planning and International Affairs, Atty. Jonas Leones has informed and recognized Pablo and the DENR-CAR for its outstanding performance in government administration, making it pass the Phase 1 of the 2022 EAGLE.
The DENR-CAR is one of the top 5 list of the regional offices which shall proceed to Phase 1-B or ranking evaluation, and Phase 2 which will focus on leadership assessment, after thorough review and evaluation of the office’s performance based on four dimensions of accountability, specifically, Performance Result based on General Appropriations Act (GAA) indicators; Financial Result in accordance with Budget Utilization Rate (BUR) disbursement; Process Result in terms of Streamlining and Process Improvement of Critical Services (SPICS); Client Satisfaction Survey (CSS); and Nine Agency Accountabilities.
Identified regional executive directors, provincial/community environment and natural resources officers from the top 5 regions who has shown exemplary leadership performance in the attainment of their regional physical and financial targets in line with the 2022 Performance-Based Bonus guidelines are nominated under the EAGLE awards.
