BAGUIO CITY – The Teacher’s Band of Baguio Central District 1 of the Department of Education has once again stand for its motto” All for One” for public service when they respond in good faith to the call of the church ministry when they perform another come back concert for a cause on February 2, 2019 at Saint Paul Parish, Quirino Hill, serving Lower, Middle, West and East Quirino Hill Barangay.
The fund raising concert was through the initiative of the St. Paul Parish Choir where they see a need for the Church expansion to accommodate more church goers from the different barangays and nearby community. The Teachers band known as the “singing teachers” of the Department of Education, Baguio City is composed of teachers from the different schools of the old District 1 headed by Mr. Alexander Domagas, Master Teacher of Baguio Central School, where he responded in good faith for an immediate conduct of a concert for a cause as they are hoping for the best of the church’s improvement.
The teachers band performed by singing some of their compositions; classic, country and religious songs. They don’t only sing for the sick and needy fellows in the department but to others who need their call to perform for a cause. The DepEd band members showcased their popularity, skills and golden voices in providing the best entertainment for the night to all concert enthusiasts’ residence for worthy results as shown by the overwhelming attendance of different guest from different sectors, political parties for the upcoming election showed support aside from the full support from the four barangay chairmen and constituents. The big number of attendance during the concert is a manifestation that every guest attended the concert really wants to give support for the church development and for the belief that when you serve for the people-church, you are also serving the Lord.
