The Schools Division Office of Benguet announces the conduct of the Brigada Eskwela Search in the New Normal in different categories for both elementary and secondary schools in the province thru the Division Memorandum No. 79 series 2021 issued on March 8, 2021.
It aims to give Brigada Awards to the schools who exemplified unique ways of implementing the Brigada Eskwela amidst pandemic covering the activities implemented from June 1 to October 31, 2020.
Categories identified in the contest are: elementary small, elementary large and special awards searches for small, medium large, and mega large for both elementary and secondary in Advancing Community Engagement(ACE) in Partnership and Linkage Award, ACE in Education Facility Award and ACE in Beautification Award.
According to the memo issued by Gloria B. Buya-ao, Benguet Schools Division Superintendent, the new framework of the search includes the engagement of stakeholders in addressing problems, queries and other concerns in preparation for the start of classes that highlighted partnership initiatives that complement the implementation of the Basic Education Learning Plan.
Brigada Eskwela awards were last given in December 2020 where the following schools bagged the awards: Tabio National High School (Small School Category), Ampusongan National High School Main (Medium School Category), Lepanto National High School (Large School Category) and Tublay School of Home Industries (Mega Large School Category) for the secondary category while Mankayan Central School and La Trinidad Central School brought home the Medium and Mega Large School Category for elementary respectively.
All school categories can still vie for the special awards including those that were already awarded last December 2020. By Jackson Lacpap
