BONTOC, Mountain Province – A 61-year old detainee of the Provincial District Jail will continue to languish in jail after combined police operatives and intelligence agents served two more warrants of arrest for murder and frustrated murder, recently.
Senior Superintendent Cornelio Comila, officer-in-charge of the Mountain Province Police Office, identified the detainee as Esteban Manuel a.k.a. Bonnie, married, 61, farmer, and a resident of Jaro, Ilo Ilo City.
He was previously detained for other cases and that he was served two warrants of arrest issued by Judge Joseph Patnaan of the Regional Trial court (RTC) Branch 35 in Bontoc for murder with no bail recommended bail for his temporary liberty and frustrated murder with a recommended bail of P200,000 for his temporary liberty.
The detained inmate will continue to stay in jail by virtue of the said warrants of arrest issued by the court.
