LUNA Apayao – Apayao provincial leaders, national line agencies officers, concerned focal employees, and office heads held a development forum on August 7 to discuss public concerns in Kabugao and find solutions to usher in more progress in the area.
The forum was recommended by Governor Elias C. Bulut Jr. as a means to look into more positive changes that can be done particularly in improving water systems, public market, roads, bridges, electrification, public cemetery and many others in said municipality.
The governor believes a forum would be a good start in determining needs of the town which can later be an initial basis from which planners can see a wider picture and draw up plans and proposals.
Meantime, Provincial Agriculturist Prudencio Bosing, in his talk at the forum, encouraged his fellows to share their insights and to carefully think of best programs that could benefit the town as well as the whole province.
In said forum, group discussions were done. One of the purposes of the forum was to form volunteer organizations to help the local government as an agent and helper towards better change.
Some of those who attended from the provincial government included also Board Member Vincent Talattag, Board Member John Anthony Amid, SP Secretary James Gullayan, and ATC Administrator Jerome Lacambra as the representative of the Governor. By Loremia Pareja
