TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Region 2 will offer mobile passporting services in the city on June 8, 2024.
City Public Employment Service Office (CPESO) head Loyda Saboy explained that the activity was dubbed “DFA Challenge Exclusive.”
The activity will only accommodate constituents from the city who wish to apply for or renew their passports.
“Tatta lang nga adda na approbaran nga special passporting tayo with DFA. We only have 200 slots for this,” Saboy said.
The CPESO chief emphasized that those searching for a job will be prioritized in the slots available.
The applicants are required to bring their necessary requirements to the CPESO before the set date for checking.
“Dagidiay agkailangan nga ag-apply or ag-renew iti passport mabalin kayo nga umay idiay CPESO ta i-check me dagidiay documents yu,” Saboy said.
The request of the CLGU with the DFA for mobile passporting was only granted recently after a long process of coordination.
The last mobile passporting activity that was conducted in the city was in 2016 with the initiative of CPESO.
“It will be Tabuk City the first to use the online passport appointment or service application of the DFA. Dahil “smart” na tayo, online na ang application. Just give us your requirements; kami na ang bahala sa CPESO.” Saboy ended.
