LUNA, Apayao – The Department of the Interior and Local Government-Cordillera (DILG-CAR) has commended the local governments of the province and municipalities of Luna, Conner, Santa Marcela, Calanasan, Pudtol, and Flora, for their outstanding efforts in maintaining functional peace and order councils.
Apayao has been previously declared the most peaceful province in the Cordillera with the least crime by the Cordillera office of the Philippine National Police which could be attributed to the coordination and collaboration of government forces and other members of peace and order councils.
