Since the pandemic has started in March 2019, learners from the said village have to hike three kilometers from the community going to Kabfug, Barangay Talubin to get a stable and faster internet signal. Barangay Talubin is the neighboring village of Caneo.
A temporary structure has been put-up by the Caneo youth as their refuge especially when it rains.
With the vaccination rollout for the pediatric population (ages 12-17), they expressed high hopes that they will soon go back to face-to-face classes.
With this, the Municipal Inter-Agency Task Force chaired by Bontoc Mayor Franklin Odsey is encouraging those who are not yet vaccinated, especially those who belong to the pediatric population to avail of the same.
