LUNA, Apayao – The Department of Labor and Employment-Apayao (DOLE) awarded livelihood assistance to the Timpuyog Ti Shalom Association on August 22,2024 at Shalom in this town, worth PhP1,500,000in the form of a combine harvester to benefit approximately 60 members of the association.
The combine harvester is a vital piece of equipment and a crucial tool for the association’s agricultural production and its purpose is to streamline the harvesting process, improve crop quality and increase productivity.
The awarding ceremony was attended by PESO Manager of Luna Ms. Rose T. Bautista, Mr. Marcelo Saleo-an Jr., DOLE Focal Person and barangay council members of Shalom. By Michelle Acantilado
