BONTOC, Mountain Province – Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), through Attorney Olivia Samson, reaffirmed its commitment to Mountain Province’s inclusive growth as the province marks its 58th founding anniversary.
Atty. Samson addressed the Department’s dedication to fostering sustainable livelihoods for the community during her speech on April 7. “The labor and employment department has implemented programs over the years that directly benefit the goals of Mountain Province,” she expressed.
She recognized Mountain Province as DOLE’s partner in nation-building rather than a mere beneficiary of their programs and services.
“As your steadfast ally, we are committed to turn this understanding into tangible programs that uplift individuals, families, and communities across the province,” Atty. Samson shared.
As Mountain Province celebrates their heritage, Atty. Samson lauded the community’s ability to balance culture and productivity. “This compatibility between nature and heritage gives rise to a strong identity and a future full of hope,” she enthused.
She further narrated the significance of culture, community, and development in fulfilling inclusive growth of the province.
On behalf of DOLE Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma, she delivered the speech at the MPGHS covered court as Mountain Province celebrates its 58th foundation day in Bontoc, Mountain Province.
