LUNA, Apayao – The Department of Public and Highways-Apayao 2nd District Engineering Office (DPWH-ASDEO) inaugurated a new ASDEO Multi- Purpose Building and Training Center on August 2, 2024 held at the DPWH Compound in San Isidro, this municipality, which shall serve as a training facility, a place for additional offices, and sleeping quarters for DPWH personnel.
The ceremony, ribbon cutting and unveiling of marker, was graced by Rev. Adel Agcaoili, attended by DPWH Cordillera regional director Khadaffy D. Tanggol, ASDEO Engr. Ronalyn P. Ubina, Vice Governor Remy N. Albano, Engr. Homero Hermosura, Assistant Provincial Engineer, and district engineers of Kalinga and other personnel.
In her message Eng. Ronalyn P. Ubina praised the work of all those involved saying, “…this facility is not just a building, this is a testament of our collective effort of Apayao 2nd District Engineering Office and commitment of continuous improvement and professional development.”
Ubina also added that the three-storey edifice, costing PhP29,645,000, “symbolizes our dedication to providing the best possible infrastructure and services to the people of Apayao.” By Michelle Acantilado & Jacquelene Lemi
