ITOGON, Benguet – ARD Emmanuel Diaz spearheaded the inspections of ongoing projects recently at Domolpos and Cayuco, Itogon, Benguet, among of which were the construction of Anovang, Domolpos, Itogon–Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya Road, and the construction of Tinongdan Proper–Cayuco–Cawayan Road.
Anovang, Domolpos, Itogon–Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya Road falls under the Convergence and Special Support Program (CSSP): Basic Infrastructure Program (BIP).
It has a total length of 14,180 meters which will promote economic efficacy and enable a business environment that safeguards the environment, indigenous, and vulnerable peoples transporting goods to and from the market.
The Tinongdan Proper-Cayuco–Cawayan Road falls under CSSP: Sustainable Infrastructure Projects Alleviating Gaps (SIPAG).
The project aims to create physical links and connectivity among barangays and accessibility to the existing national road/s. It will catalyze economic development, promoting the crops produced in these barangays by allowing the locals to convey their products to the market.
Joining Assistant Regional Director Diaz during the project inspections were Engr. Samuel C. Focasan, Engr. Lawrence D. Romero, Engr. Leonardo Humiwat Jr., and Mr. Jarrold Sagayo. The group exchanged their observations and opinions with the contractors to minimize complications during the construction of the said projects. By DPWH-CAR
