BAGUIO CITY – In line with the celebration of the 125th Anniversary of DPWH, the Regional Office together with the 12 district engineering offices (DEOs) promoted the different goods and products known and sourced from every province of the region.
The One Town One Product (OTOP) Trade Fair 2023 was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 20, 2023, spearheaded by Cordillera Administrative Region Director Khadaffy D. Tanggol and Assistant Regional Director Emmanuel W. Diaz along with the Management Committee and the panel of judges for the “Most Creative Booth”.
Provincial Director Felicitas O. Bandonill from the Department of Trade and Industry-Abra was invited as the Chairperson of the panel of judges together with Matias D. Decoran, Jr., Audit Team Leader, Commission on Audit – DPWH-CAR, and Jail Officer I Ericson Q. Mendoza from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology as members of the panel. The “Most Creative Booth” and the Booth with the Highest Sales will be recognized and awarded a cash prize on June 23, 2023.
This year, the DPWH-CAR Regional Office partnered with Jail Senior Superintendent April Rose Wandag-Ayangwa to support and feature the livelihood products crafted by persons deprived of liberty (PDL) from the Baguio City Jail Male Dormitory.
The OTOP Trade Fair shall run from June 19 to 22, 2023 at the DPWH-CAR Regional Office Grounds and some of the goods and products will also be sold at the Baguio Convention Center on June 23, 2023. By DPWH-CAR
