TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Various government instrumentalities recognized the Department of Public Works and Highways–Lower Kalinga District Engineering Office (DPWH-LKDEO) for its significant contributions to the realization of the goals and objectives of the different programs, projects and activities that are benefit the public.
On March 2, 2022, DPWH-CAR regional director Khadaffy Tanggol issued a plaque of recognition to DPWH-LKDEO headed by officer-in-charge Engr. Ruby Uyam for exerting utmost efforts in attaining Rank 2 in the Geotagging of Civil works with 100 percent compliance for 5 times for Calendar year 2021 among the 12 district engineering offices of the agency.
Further, Brig. Gen. Santiago I. Enginco, commanding officer of the 503rd Infantry Brigade of the Philippine Army, issued a plaque of recognition to the DPWH-LKDEO on May 2, 2022 in grateful appreciation and recognition to the agency’s valuable support to the brigade in pursuing peace, stability and progress in its area of operations.
The recognition issued to the DPWH-LKDEO stated that the agency’s selfless and relentless efforts have significantly contributed to the fulfillment of the unit’s efforts in sustaining peace and development in the Cordillera.
The same accolade was issued to the agency during the 36th founding anniversary of the 503rd Infantry Brigade, 5th Infantry Division of the Philippine Army.
On June 8, 2022, Tabuk city Election Officer lawyer John Paul martin issued a certificate of commendation to the DPWH-LKDEO for the agency’s priceless assistance to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office of Tabuk City by providing efficient manpower, technology, assets, and indefatigable service that immensely contributed to the overall success of the May 9, 2022 national and local elections in the entire city.
For her part, Uyam expressed her gratitude to the government instrumentalities that provided the said recognitions, citing that the agency is willing to extend assistance within its limits to help in the effective and efficient delivery of services to the people.
She assured concerned stakeholders that the DPWH-LKDEO will always be ready to extend the needed assistance to both the government and the private sectors provided that such assets that are required are readily available although they will exert efforts to source out the same for the benefit of those seeking help from the office.
