BAGUIO CITY – A 49-year old driver died after he was repeatedly stabbed and beheaded by still unidentified assailants inside his house at Bronze Street, Upper Quezon Hill, here, recently.
The lifeless and headless body of the victim was found by his relatives inside one of the rooms of his residence Wednesday afternoon before the untoward incident was reported to the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO).
Police authorities identified the fatality as Alfredo Sabado Juquiana, 49,married, a driver of the City Environment and Parks Management Office and a resident of Bronze Street, Upper Quezon Hill, Baguio City.
Probers theorized the victim died over 24 hours prior to being discovered by his relatives who came all the way from the lowlands to visit him considering that his parents and the members of his family are now living abroad.
Responding police operatives and elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) team found the victim sustained several stab wounds on his chest aside from his head that was missing and was on a squat position.
Further, police recovered from the room two sachets containing suspected shabu that was placed on one of the tables although his relatives denied that he was using illegal drugs or was involved in the trade of the banned products.
BCPO investigators are now conducting an in-depth investigation to locate the missing head of the victim and subsequently arrest the suspects to determine the motive behind the brutal murder of the said driver.
The victim was reported to have been absent from his work over the past two days.
