LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – A 77-year old man died after the motor vehicle he was driving fell into a 20 meter deep ravine at Lubas, here,Sunday evening.
Chief Inspector Benson Macliing, chief of the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station, identified the fatality as Camilo Tan-ayen, Macguing, 77, married and resident of Upper Pinget, Baguio City.
Initial police investigation showed that the vehicle was driving his vehicle and was already traversing the flat portion of the road in Lubas after being able to hurdle the ascending portion when it accidentally fell on the 20-meter deep ravine on the right side of the road.
The victim was rushed by concerned residents and responding police operatives to the Benguet General Hospital and (BeGH) for medical treatment but he was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians.
