BAGUIO CITY – A 37-year old driver was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in his possession alleged illegal drugs and upon the complaint of alleged rape by the grandmother of his 2-year old daughter in his residence at South Sanitary Camp, here, Monday afternoon.
Police authorities identified the arrested individual as Christopher Torres Tenerife, 37, married, driver and residing at South Sanitary Camp, Baguio City and who is one of the drug personalities listed as a drug user and pusher in the local police force.
Initial police investigation showed the alleged rape of the suspect’s 2-year old daughter allegedly happened last October 14 and was discovered by her grandmother only last October 15.
The alleged rape incident was immediately reported to the police after the victim underwent the necessary medical examination.
When the police went to arrest the suspect, he was found to be in possession of two heat sealed sachets containing a still undetermined volume of suspected shabu with a still undetermined market value.
The confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the PNP crime laboratory for the conduct of qualitative test while the suspect was arrested and now detained at the BCPO headquarters awaiting the filing of rape and violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Law charges against him before the city prosecutor’s office.
