BAGUIO CITY – A 24-year old alleged drug courier was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in his possession suspected shabu and other illegal drug paraphernalia during a buy-bust operation at Bakakeng Central, here, Tuesday night.
Senior Superintendent George D. Daskeo, acting city director of the Baguio City Police Office, identified the arrested drug courier as Abdul Raffy Zenab Ampaso, 24, and a resident of Lower Quirino Hill, Baguio City.
Confiscated from the possession of the arrested drug courier were a sachet containing more or less 4 grams, 10 pieces P1,000 buddle money, and a mobile phone.
The arrested drug courier and the recovered pieces of evidence were immediately brought to the BCPO Station No. 10 headquarters for documentation while awaiting the filing of the appropriate charges, particularly violations of the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Law, before the city prosecutor’s office against him.
