LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – A member of a local drug group proved that Friday the 13th is indeed unlucky after being apprehended on its eve.
Anti-narcotics agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the Cordilleras nabbed Davis Jordan Tamayo Baloga on May 12 during a buy-bust operation beside Tabanda Park, Km. 5, Barangay Pico, La Trinidad, Benguet.
The 29-year old resident of Purok 15, Irisan, Baguio City was collared when he sold a sachet of shabu worth P4,000.00 to a PDEA-CAR poseur-buyer. Confiscated from Baloga aside from the prohibited drug were the buy-bust money and a black mobile phone with sim card.
The suspect is now detained at the Benguet Provincial Jail while a case for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 was filed against him.
