A drug personality will now be facing charges for Violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 after he was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted in Bangued, Abra on December 9, 2022.
Based on the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN MAFELINO A BAZAR, the arrested suspect was identified as Reynaldo Rosario Pensayo, 53 years old, and a resident of Danglas, Abra.
Suspect Pensayo was arrested by joint operatives of Bangued Municipal Police Station (MPS), Provincial Intelligence Unit of Abra PPO, and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit after he sold a sachet of suspected “shabu” weighing more or less 0.2 grams with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 1,000.00.
Further, another two (2) sachets of suspected “shabu” weighing more or less 0.2 grams with an SDP amounting to Php 2,000.00 were seized from his possession.
The inventory of pieces of evidence recovered was conducted on-site in the presence of the arrested suspect and witnessed by Brgy. Kagawad Malbour Jude Valera of Brgy. Calaba, Bangued, and Mr. Edgar Tanura of DZPA Radio Station.
The suspect and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought into the custody of Bangued MPS for documentation and proper disposition.
