ITOGON, Benguet October 25 – A 33-year old electrician of the Benguet Corporation (BC) died after he was allegedly electrocuted while trying to repair an insulator of an electric post at Riverside, Virac, here, recently.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Charlie Gabin Nagangis, 33, married, native of Aringay La Union, electrician of Benguet Corporation and presently residing in Saint Louis Dormitory, Virac, Itogon, Benguet.
Initial police investigation showed the victim was seen lifeless above the strain insulator of an electric post in the area and that he was subsequently subjected to medical attention but he was declared dead by attending physicians.
Probers believe that the victim might have tried to repair the damaged insulator but he might have been electrocuted that caused his untimely death.
