BAGUIO CITY – City officials recently approved the events, programs and activities for An Enchanting Baguio Christmas 2024 with the city government as sponsor.
Under Resolution No. 626, series of 2024, considered by the body was Executive Order No. 105, series of 2024 issued on September 30, 2024 with the local government as co-sponsor of An Enchanting Baguio Christmas 2024.
The council noted that data from the City Tourism Office (BTC) showed that the final quarter leading up to the first months of the year has historically seen the greatest number of visitors, both domestic and foreign, visiting the city.
Further, with numerous government sponsored Christmas -themed events and activities organized and carried out by the private sector under the guidance of the BTC, the said noteworthy record can be easily attributed to the city’s timeless appeal due to its cool climate and joyous atmosphere during the holiday season.
Among the activities for the An Enchanting Baguio Christmas 2024 are Botanical Christmas Garden with Faith, Hope and Love – commune with nature while delighting one’s sight; the Baguio Christmas market; inter-barangay Christmas beautification contest; the ceremonial lighting of the Baguio Christmas Tree; Saint Louis University lantern parade; Christmas Show; Enchanting Christmas Volkswagen Show; community and private-led activities and Baguio New year’s Day countdown.
This order directed different agencies, departments and offices to extend their support to the endeavor.
