BAGUIO CITY – A 53-year old former Overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who is listed in the watchlist of drug personalities was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in his possession suspected illegal drugs and assorted drug paraphernalia during a buy bust operation at Balacbac, Sto. Tomas Proper, here, Thursday afternoon.
Police authorities identified the arrested drug personality as Antonio Bustamante Arevalo Jr., 53, married, former OFW, a native of Bugallon, Pangasinan and a resident of Purok 1, Dontogan, Baguio City.
Confiscated by the operating troops from his possession were 1 piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with undetermined weight and value, 1 piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with undetermined weight and 1 piece original buy-bust money, One thousand Peso bill.
The arrested person, who is included as the top target of the Oplan Lambat Sibat of BCPO Station No. 10, and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the BCPO headquarters for documentation prior to the filing of the appropriate charges against him before the city prosecutor’s office.
