CAMP OSCAR FLORENDO, La Union – Ilocos police here arrested a dental technician that charges against for the illegal practice of dentistry to unidentified patients in Barangay Quinavite, Bauang, La Union reported this camp Wednesday (Aug. 4, 2021).
The suspect was identified as Marck Alexander R. Amada, 43, single, dental technician and a resident of Brgy. Quinavite, Bauang, La Union.
According Bauang police report, at about 4:30 pm the team from Philippine Dental Association, La Union Chapter headed by Iana Mechele S. Galvez, 25, a dentist and resident of Brgy. Paringao, Bauang, La Union personally coordinated to Bauang Police Station to seek for Police Assistance for the conduct of an Entrapment Operation against the said suspect.
The suspect was caught red-handed in entrapment operation.
Sized from the suspect is a marked money Php. 1,000.00 and several dental paraphernalia. Now the suspect was detained at the custody of Bauang PNP for filing charges of RA 9484 or Prohibition against Illegal Practice of Dentistry. By: ERWIN BELEO
