TABUK CITY, Kalinga July 17 – A 31-year old farmer was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for attempted rape in his residence at sitio Pagatac, barangay Bantay, here, Friday.
Senior Superintendent Brent Majaco, provincial director of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office, identified the arrested individual as Janson Romero Bangayon, 31, farmer and a resident of Sitio Pagatac, barangay Bantay, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
He was arrested by combined virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Neiljoe Cortes of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 25 in Tabuk City, Kalinga for attempted rape with a recommended bail of P120,000 for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was brought to Tabuk City Police Office for documentation prior to the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
