SAGADA, Mountain Province – A 43-year old farmer was arrested by combined police operatives and anti-narcotics agents after having found in his possession suspected illegal drugs and other drug paraphernalia during the implementation of a search warrant in his residence at Ankileng, here, Thursday.
Senior Superintendent Cornelio Comila, officer-in-charge of the Mountain Province Provincial Police office, identified the arrested drug personality as Theodore Kimmayong Dugao, 43 years old, married, farmer situated at Barangay Ankileng, Sagada, Mountain Province.
Confiscated by the operating troops from his residence by virtue of a search warrant issued by Judge Joseph Patnaan of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 35 in Bontoc were 1 heat sealed sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu contained in a small hand woven pouch, marijuana seeds contained in 2 small yellow colored tin cans; drug paraphernalia; 1 bullet for 12 gauge shotgun; and P37,500.00 in different denominations.
Likewise, simultaneous search was also conducted at the subject’s aggregates and auto shop at Sitio Madoto of same barangay situated about a kilometer and a half away from his residence and were able to discover and confiscate 4 heat sealed sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, 1 live ammo for M14 rifle, 1 live ammo for M16 rifle, 1 live ammo for .22 caliber, 2 units of slot machines and P12,550.00 in different denominations.
The arrested individual and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Sagada Municipal Police Station for documentation awaiting the filing of the appropriate charges against him before the provincial prosecutor’s office.
