BESAO, Mountain Province April 20 – A 64-year old farmer was arrested by combined police operatives and intelligence agents based on a warrant for rape in his residence at Tambuan, here, Tuesday.
Senior Superintendent Allen S. Ocden, provincial director of the Mountain Province Provincial Police Office, identified the the arrested individual as Sabas Boka-Ew Tolingan, 64, single, farmer, and a resident of Tamboan, Besao, Mountain Province.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Sergio Angnganay, Jr. of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 36 in Bontoc for two counts of rape with no bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
The arrested individual was brought to the Besao Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his turnover to the issuing court for the proper disposal of the case filed against him.
