FLORA, Apayao – A 69-year old farmer was found dead by concerned residents inside his house at Lower Atok, here, Monday.
Police authorities identified the fatality as Simon B. Alconcher, 69, married, farmer, and a resident of barangay Lower Atok, Flora, Apayao.
Initial police investigation showed that witnesses were able to see the farmer standing in front of his store but a few hours later, concerned neighbors were able to discover his lifeless body lying on his bed.
Initial assessment conducted by elements of the Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) showed that the victim did not sustain any signs of external injuries that might have caused his death.
Probers are still conducting a thorough investigation relative to the victim’s untimely demise.
